I’ve spent my entire life around the automotive industry. I started at my father’s dealerships, Snyder Pontiac Buick GMC in Mercer, PA and Snyder Oldsmobile Pontiac Cadillac in Grove City, PA. I’ve been with Cochran Chevrolet Buick GMC since 2009. I was the Valedictorian of GM Dealership Management Class 229 and also studied at Marian University in Indianapolis. I enjoy facilitating the development of employees and helping provide a world class shopping experience for our customers. In my free time, there’s no place I’d rather be than with my family and friends. One of my favorite past times is attending sporting events such as cheering on the Duke Blue Devil’s basketball team.
I am originally from Austintown, OH and I graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration in 2004. I also earned my Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) Certification in 2004. I have been with Cochran Chevrolet Buick GMC since 2004. I am currently the Business Development & Internet Sales Manager and I direct daily operations for our Business Development Center, as well as data and information management. Growing up, we moved around a good amount because my father was in the Navy, but I have called Poland home for more than forty years. I am a graduate of Poland High School, the University of Cincinnati and the Akron College of Massotheraphy. My wife Jennifer and I have been married for more than 25 years ago. We have two sons, John (23) and Stephen (16). We also have a 4 year old Golden Retriever named Marco! I grew up in Berlin Center, OH and now reside in Austintown. I am married to my best friend and high school sweet heart and we are blessed to be parents of 2, Bailey and Forrest. I have been with Cochran since 2015 with 3 years of prior experience in sales with Chevrolet. I take pride in the Chevrolet brand and product with both of my parents, several aunts and uncles and my grandfather all working at the General Motors plant in Lordstown. My biggest hobby is music, as I’ve played guitar for over 12 years now. Along with guitar I also play drums and I lead the Worship Team at my church for Sunday morning Services. I grew up in Hubbard, Ohio, where I currently reside. I have been with Cochran since 1997. I am a GMAC/Ally certified leasing consultant and also sell new and used vehicles. I drive a GMC SIERRA EXT 4X4 to haul my favorite hobby, motocross and supercross, which I currently race. I was national champ in the AHRMA 125 expert class in 1994.
My name is Matthew Carothers; I grew up in Western Pennsylvania in town called Stoneboro and currently reside in Hermitage, Pa. I have been a member of the Cochran Family since 2015, and previously was a photographer for Lifetouch, and a bartender at the Wynn Las Vegas resorts in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am married to my wife Kelly and together we have a little boy named Owen who is three years of age. I graduated from Kennedy Catholic High School in Hermitage, and later studied at Youngstown state University and ITT Technical institute in Henderson NV in fields of Visual Communications and Network System Administration.
