The new Chevy SUV Blazer has taken the midsize crossover SUV segment by storm. Its expressive exterior style, impressive capability, and premium comfort help it stand out in a crowded market. Now, Chevy is making the Blazer EV with an all-electric powertrain that outperforms the competition.
The base-model Blazer 2LT starts at an MSRP of $35,400 and comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and Chevy Safety Assist, a suite of driver-assistance systems designed to elevate your drive. Optional equipment includes a power programmable liftgate, AWD, Adaptive Cruise Control, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert.
The Blazer 3LT trim offers some technology upgrades at $39,300 MSRP. Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, and the power programmable liftgate come standard. You also have the option for a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which enables up to 4,500 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped.
Chevy Blazer RS models priced at $42,800 ramp up your street style. Black exterior accents, badging, and trim-exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels turn heads along the boulevard. Inside, you’ll love the Jet Black perforated leather seats with red accents throughout the cabin. The 3.6-liter V-6 engine comes standard with an option for Chevy’s Advanced Twin-Clutch AWD system.
Top-tier Blazer Premier trims start at $42,800 and come with the 2.0-liter turbo-four standard and an option for the V-6. Exterior enhancements include 20-inch alloys, a chrome-trimmed grille, silver roof rails, and chrome accents. Inside, the Premier features leather seats with suede microfiber accents in your choice of Jet Black or Jet Black/Maple palettes.
The all-new Blazer EV comes in LT and RS trims. The LT costs $48,800 and gets an EPA-estimated 279 miles of range with AWD. Blazer LT has 19-inch wheels, increased battery capacity, and a 17.7-inch touchscreen display.
Blazer RS models start at 53,200 and deliver head-turning style with their 21-inch alloy wheels, black-painted grille, lower flow-through rocker molding, and illuminated front light bar with bowtie animation. The RS comes standard with AWD, but the optional RWD variant goes the distance with up to 324 miles of range.
Both models offer the sleek, modern exterior style, premium interior comfort, and convenience features you crave. The lower-priced Blazer may make sense if you’re looking to stay within a budget. However, many drivers enjoy saving money at the gas pump with the Blazer EV, which gets an impressive 103 MPGe around town and 88 MPGe on the highway. The gas-powered Blazer returns 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.
