When you visit these locations, you’ll not only have an incredible experience, but you’ll also be supporting your local vineyards and growers.
Webb Winery

The family-owned Webb Winery is run by local husband-and-wife team Kevin and Carlee Webb. Kevin’s passion for winemaking, together with Carlee’s love of culinary excellence, led them to establish this winery. At first, Kevin experimented with making wine in his home garage and then found he needed to take over more storage space. He used various types of grapes from the local area as well as from the wider California region to try and find the ideal combination.
When he eventually felt confident that he had developed some good varieties, the couple purchased a commercially zoned home in Hermitage so that they could live on the same plot of land where they would set up their winery. The Webbs focused on getting people to taste their wines and experience their family’s hospitality, so they decided to set up an outdoor seating area in their backyard, where they held live music nights, sip and paint classes, and even Fall Festivals with hundreds of visitors.
Today, you can still enjoy these events throughout the year, as well as various workshops and fundraisers. If you’re looking for something more than Webb’s traditional wines, the winery offers a wide selection of unique fruit and specialty wines, such as blueberry, sour cherry, cranberry, and jalapeno varieties.
Best of all, if you have a wine lover among your friends or family, you can buy them a gift card to Webb Winery this Christmas, a present they will surely appreciate. These gift cards can be purchased online and are completely digital, which means giving them as a gift is incredibly easy.

Woodland Cellars
One of the great things about local Hermitage wineries is that most of them are family owned. This means that their tasting rooms have a warm, hospitable feeling as the owners and staff share their love for and knowledge of wine with you. Nate and Dani Wilson established Woodland Cellars in Hubbard, Ohio, in June 2018.
Though this winery mainly focuses on offering customers its top-quality wines, Woodland Cellars is also one of the few meaderies in the area. Some of you may have never tried mead before, as it is considered somewhat of an antique drink. In fact, the selection of meads that Woodland Cellars produces is created based on 700-year-old recipes.
The wines and meads here are made from a combination of fresh fruits and juices that give certain varieties an extra kick, while others are handcrafted with locally sourced honey. Woodland Cellars’ tasting room is one of the most popular destinations in Hermitage, and the winery’s reputation also attracts residents from all over Ohio and Pennsylvania. This is a great place to bring the whole family, as Woodland Cellars also serves a delicious menu to accompany its wine tastings, including top-quality burgers, tacos, and flatbreads.
Nate and Dani are frequently on-site, sometimes with their two young children, to tend to their beloved winery and store as well as their loyal customers. Drop by Woodland Cellars to taste the very best of the local area’s wines while becoming part of Nate and Dani’s extended family. Just like Webb Winery, Woodland Cellars also offers digital gift cards in case you need a last-minute gift idea for the wine lover in your life.

Nova Cellars Winery
Get out of town to enjoy the great outdoors with a great glass of wine in your hand at Nova Cellars Winery. This wonderful winery is situated right on an outdoor lake with plenty of outdoor seating for customers visiting on a sunny day. Nova Cellars Winery was founded by Walter “Walt” and Katie Novosel in October 2012.
Like the other wineries listed here, Nova Cellars prides itself on providing a family-friendly atmosphere. The owners believe in giving back to the community, and they even started a nonprofit in 2018 called “Operation Grape: Drink For A Cure,” which benefits local medical organizations. Walt Novosel also established Hop Asylum Brewing, which gives a portion of its profits to behavioral health organizations.
Visit Nova Cellars Winery to sample some of the many varieties of wine made here, including a constantly changing seasonal variety. If you can’t decide, order a wine flight — four samples for $8 — while also tasting cheese platters, flatbreads, and dips.
