Westside Bowl

Every Monday at 7 p.m., the bar at Westside Bowl hosts an epic Drunk Trivia night that people attend from all around the Youngstown area. The rules are that you can have no more than four people on your team, and you can’t use any notes, phones, or other electronic devices to look up answers. In other words, no cheat sheets.

The only other rule is to bring your friends and have fun. There are five rounds of trivia, including two music rounds. So if one of your friends knows every band stretching back to Glen Miller and every artist up to Megan Thee Stallion, bring them along for this exciting trivia night.

One of the bonus perks of this trivia game is that you not only get a prize if you win the whole game; everyone on your team will also get a prize if you win a round. If your team wins the whole trivia night, you’ll get $20 off your tab or a $20 gift card.

Noble Creature Cask House

This brewery, housed in a beautiful old church with stained glass windows, is a favorite with locals thanks to its delicious craft beer and general beer selection on tap. The servers are knowledgeable about all the beer varieties they sell, so even if you’re not exactly sure what you’re looking for, a friendly server or bartender can help you out.

The bar at Noble Creature Cask House now has more customers than ever thanks to its recurring True Crime Trivia Night, where you can test your knowledge of local and national crime stories. Hosted in association with the Youngstown and Mahoning County Public Library, the trivia game attracts numerous participants from all over Boardman and Youngstown.

Nights here are fun for a large group of your friends. Not only can you enjoy a great beer in a unique environment, but you can also satisfy your hunger with one of the many delicious menu items, such as the Bratwurst sandwich.

The only drawback is that trivia nights at Noble Creature Cask House are not on a fixed schedule, so you’ll need to check the bar’s website to see when it’ll host its next trivia night and what the theme might be. In the meantime, the bar also has Wednesday alternating jam and jazz nights, live music, and family days throughout the year, so be sure to check the schedule frequently.

Krakatoa Tropical Food & Spirits

Visit this lively, colorful, tropical-themed venue to get a taste of warmer climates while having the time of your life with your Youngstown friends and family. Krakatoa Tropical Food & Spirits prides itself on creating a fun, convivial atmosphere for guests and being extra welcoming and friendly to anyone who walks in the door.

Thanks to its great food and cocktails and the many fun events Krakatoa hosts, first-time visitors quickly become regulars here. Whether your friends are Jeopardy or American Idol fans, the bar has something for everyone, combining karaoke and trivia nights throughout the year to give its customers a good time.

Try one of the summer cocktails on the menu, such as a Flavored Mojito or Tequila Sunset. Pair it with one of the mouthwatering tacos or burgers available from the kitchen, such as the Krakatoan, topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, a fried egg, onion rings, and Krak barbecue sauce. After you’ve finished the trivia rounds and enjoyed your dinner, check out some of the fun vintage arcade games you can also find at this bar, such as Pac-Man and Pinball.

Modern Methods Brewing Company

Located in an old brick building in downtown Warren, the rustic Modern Methods Brewing Company attracts plenty of customers thanks to its unique location with outdoor seating in David Grohl Alley and its 18-tap system that provides a variety of carefully selected premium beers for guests. Whether you like stouts, lagers, IPAs, or anything else, Modern Methods has something for you.

Best of all, the brewery hosts a regular trivia night with prizes, usually gift cards. If you win a round, the brewery gives a smaller amount; if your team wins the entire game, you’ll get a larger prize. Trivia nights, called game nights here, are typically held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays. Be sure to check the brewery’s website and calendar in advance, as some Fridays won’t have a game night.

People love congregating to test their knowledge in this historic building. You can answer questions and engage in team building while enjoying fine beers in downtown Warren’s first brewery, which opened in 1880. Since this is a mainly alcohol-serving venue, the clientele is limited to guests over 21 years old. You’ll need to arrange childcare for your kids, as they won’t be able to enter the brewery, even on game night.

We love attending local trivia nights to enjoy a good competition with old friends while creating fond memories with new ones. If you’ve been searching for a different experience for a night out with your pals, check out one of the trivia nights listed above.
